If you have them, stop using them and get repair kits.
First are 635,000 cribs made by Dorel Asia SLR. The drop-side hardware on the cribs can fail, causing the drop side to detach from the crib. When the side detaches, it creates a space in which an infant or toddler can become entrapped and suffocate or strangle. CPSC and Dorel Asia received a report of the death of a 6-month-old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who became entrapped and strangled in a crib after the drop-side hardware broke. The recalled cribs also pose a serious entrapment and strangulation hazard when a slat is damaged.
This recall involves the 3-in-1 Carlisle drop-side crib with model number 10H020 in dark cherry, and the Tara drop-side crib with model number DAKM5132C in white. The crib name, model number, and “Dorel Distribution Canada” can be found on the assembly instruction sheet that is attached to the crib’s mattress support board, as well as at the bottom of the crib’s headboard.
The name “Dorel” or “Safety 1st” is printed on the crib’s railing.

I finally decided that it was time for me to have Antonio sleep in his own room. I felt ready, not 100% ready but I would never know unless I tried! Antonio was still waking-up in the middle of the night until my wonderful neighbor said to ‘just let him cry-it-out’. So that night I put him to sleep in his own room and when he woke-up a few hours later I didn’t go to him and he only cried a little then went back to sleep… now he is sleeping through the night (I thought this day would never come!). For all you moms out there that are still getting woken up when you know they’re not starving.. try doing this. My neighbor said that it took about 3 nights of letting her daughter ‘cry-it-out’ and it took Antonio only one night. He sometimes wakes-up (not crying) but does fall back to sleep without me going to him. If you have a newborn then of course you still have to feed them when they wake-up but Antonio is now 10 months so I figured he is old enough now to start sleeping through the night…. thanks to my wonderful neighbor!!

I don’t blame him, if I was 3 years old I wouldn’t want to eat the opposite sexes cheese either!!!!

I think this is a good time to stop since all the books and doctors say you should breastfeed till a least 6 months, so we’re well past that.. but the other day I read that you can continue breastfeeding to 24 months or longer…. these people are outta their minds!!!!!
